"Inspiration for my paintings come to me in different forms—from the simplest shape, Scripture that grips my heart, or the natural beauty around our home in Tennessee. I feel God has given me talent to create, design and paint. And it is my responsibility to spread His light through my paintings. In my paintings, I try to convey my feelings in a way that touches hearts and makes us think of simpler times." Being married to a military man for more than 20 years, Cindy has learned what "love of Country" really means and it has had a great influence on her paintings. "Painting in a folk art Americana style will always be my first love. However, in recent years I have found painting in other styles and colors to be very rewarding as well." |
